My friend Heather Nelson did this with her twins and I thought it was such a good idea to get a picture of your baby each month. So here is Haddon on his one month birthday!
Potty Party! Yes, we have started potty training. On Monday the 4th I woke Hudson up and told him there was a surprise in the bathroom for him. It was Clifford in Big Boy Underpants! WOW! Doesn't he look good! ;) That morning we had a beach party. I put out beach blankets with water proof protection underneath and had a bunch of snacks and "beach" games for the party. In between games we "potty trained" Clifford. Clifford had several accidents and sucesses on the potty. (I squirted Clifford's underwear with water or added some raisins when Hudson wasn't looking) All the while Hudson was excited for when "someday" would come and he could go potty like a big boy. Hudson had told me the week before that he didn't want to wear diapers anymore. I looked at my calender and thought it was time. That afternoon after nap Hudson's "someday" came. I let him open the present of his Bob the Builder and Thomas the Train big boy underpants. He was pretty excited. We had 3 sucessful attempts that evening. This week has been one of hours on the potty and a "million" soggy underpants episodes. Lots of laundry! I do believe it is clicking in his mind though. Today we have only had one accident! Hudson just thinks this week has been great! He could sit on the potty for hours just to get a little treat. I will be thankful when he has it down. I told Kevin "You know what, I hate potty training!" I guess you would be a little strange if you liked it. If there was a potty training nanny that you could hire I would do it! :)

What great ideas, to have a beach party and help Hudson "train" clifford! I hope he is fully trained soon so that your laundry and potty-vigil hours can be reduced. :) Haddon is getting chubby! So cute.
Hudson really got it Friday. Not bad to have it happen the 5th day. I think the party and training Clifford really helped!! He is doing great with the potty. It is nice to not spend half my waking hours in the bathroom anymore. :)
Hi Holly! Good job getting Haddon's one-month picture! Those pictures are really helping me with scrapbooking - I've only gotten their first month done though! I love Hudson's cowboy sheets!
Miss you!
Heather Nelson
