The Boy's Personalities

Haddon has been deemed by many as "The perfect baby". We must say that you really couldn't improve on him much. I think of grace when I think of Haddon. Grace is getting something we don't deserve. Kevin and I have received God's grace for salvation. We surely never deserved a relationship with almighty God through His son Jesus. We benefit from that relationship everyday and will for eternity in heaven. We know that because of our dirty sinful hearts we deserve death in hell. God's Grace is amazing! Haddon reminds us of God's grace. Everyday this last year I have thought "I don't deserve such a good baby as Haddon; what did I do to deserve this? " The answer -Nothing. Just like grace their is nothing we can do to earn it or deserve it. I praise God for my living picture of Grace!
Haddon is almost always happy and smiling or laughing. He loves to make people laugh and laughs at anyone who is even remotely funny.
Haddon is also very serious about food! Meal time at our house is quite different depending on what seat you look at. Haddon can't be deterred from his focus on food and lots of it. We are already saving up for when this boy becomes a teenager. :)
Hudson on the other hand is our daily meal entertainment. It seems almost impossible for Hudson to not sing through the whole meal. We have tried to curb it but singing and eating go hand in hand for him. We have to tell him quite often-no more singing or talking until you are finished. If Hudson had his way dinner would take all evening.
Hearing Hudson's versions of songs can be quite interesting and funny.
The Muffin Man
Do you know the muffet man? The muffet man? The muffet man? Who lives in surgery? Oh yes I know the muffet man.
Ba Ba Black Sheep
Ba Ba Black Sheep have you any war?
Yes sir, yes sir 9 days 4
One for my master, and one for my day, and one for the little boy that lives down the day.
Jack and Jill
Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pile of water--uhh Hudson it is pail of water, pail is like a bucket.
ohhh..
Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a bucket of water
Jack fell down and broke his crown and Jill came tumbling after.
Hudson it is pail not bucket-I just meant a bucket is like a pail.
Jill and Jack went up the hill to fetch a pile of water
Jill fell down and broke her arm and Jack came tumbling after.
Never mind Hudson.. :)
At breakfast time Hudson tries to tell me that he wants candy most of the time. Hudson would you like oatmeal or cereal. "Maybe I just need some jelly beans?"
One day he asked for Green beans for breakfast. Are you sure Hudson? He was sure that was what he wanted so I got out a can of green beans to show him. That wasn't exactly what he had in mind. Just Green Jelly Bellies.
I was telling Hudson what we were going to do that day.. probably involved something not fun like cleaning. He came back with "Mommy I have a better idea let's go play football outside!"
We love our growing boys. They bring lots of fun and laughter to our home!
