What's in a Name?

Hudson Matthew and Haddon James. Why these names you ask?

Hudson was named after the great missionary to China; Hudson Taylor. If you ever have read Hudson's Taylor's Spiritual Secrets you know what a tremendous servant of the Lord he was. That is our prayer for our sons that they would just be servants of the Lord and allow the Lord to use them how ever He would desire. Matthew is for Kevin's dad's name and is also Kevin's middle name. Matthew is also from the Matthew of the Bible who wrote the book of the Bible.

Haddon was named after two great preachers and servants of God. Charles Haddon Spurgeon of England and Haddon Robinson of the United States. James is Holly's father's name. It also is from the James of the Bible who wrote the book of the Bible.

Were we trying to go for the "H" names? No, they just happen to be names we liked.

So there you have it! :) We are blessed with our two boys Hudson and Haddon.
