This was Saturday April 12th. It was 70F or +21C I had Haddon outside in his Bumbo that someone bought him. He loves it and so do I! They are so expensive that I never thought I would have one. Another reminder of the generosity of the people we love at Meadowlands.
Yes the snow was ALL melted and gone and I was thinking buds on the trees this week. But actually we are having the worst storm of the whole season! The Blizzard started Saturday the 19th and is still going on Tuesday. You might think that in Canada it is always a blizzard. Actually when it snows it is usually a really nice gentle snow. This is our second blizzard of the season. A blizzard is very cold, very windy and lots of snow. We do not like blizzards especially in April. The church office and school has been closed the last two days. Schools in Alberta don't close for snow days; they would always be closed. So you know it is pretty bad. We have probably gotten about 2 feet of snow but some of the blown snow drifts are amazing! And we are at the end of April right???
This is how Haddon likes to spend a snow day....
Until Hudson goes in to wake him up. Hudson wants to play! So later Hudson loads all his Noah's Ark animals plus some extras onto Haddon. Haddon didn't seem to mind. Haddon it is just the beginning!!
